As I approached I thought the food was inviting, so I didn’t check Yelp. Bad choice.
I ordered the burger with Cheddar and Bacon. Seemed like a popular item. I asked that it be prepared RARE. when the burger hit my table in just 2 minutes, I should have known. I added my mustard, mayo, and all of the veggies. I took my first bite, and I was pleased with the flavor profile.
The seasoning was right, but the burger was MED-WELL or even WELL. Bummer.
On a positive side, the salad was tasty. Thank goodness. And, after I had consumed the entire salad and half of the burger, the waitress finally asked how it was tasting. I showed her the burger and she offered to replace it. Nice gesture, but it was too late as I didn’t need to eat a second burger and I hate wasting food.
As I offered credit card, the waitress said she told the manager and asked if he had come by; no, he had not. I paid and left a tip for the helpful waitress, but I will never return.
