The Pet Hotel Wasn’t Too Bad

Fiona moved into Stage Stop 44 in 2010. She had never been boarded. She was a free roaming mountain dog with amazing trash skills.

Mary joined mom in 2013 from an animal rescue. After adopting mom, Mary never had more than a day stay at the vet. Mom took her everywhere. In 2017, mom and Mary moved into Stage Stop 44.

Luke became family in 2015, after having a rough time in a sunny fenced yard followed by a long stay in a rescue shelter. Once adopted, he had no boarding experience.

Along come June 2019. Jacob’s graduation proved to have a house full of people, and the need to monitor dogs would have been excessive. Our normal house sitter was on assignment in Alaska, so we had to board the kids.

The looked pretty happy. The Pet Resort sends photos daily. However, Luke had serious stress, and had to be examined for possible bowel issues. He’s home and fully recovered.

I hope we never have to do that again. But, if we do, I know where they are going. These people were great.
