Morning on Board
Mornings are always fun. Christian is up at 7 or so. Mom follows around 8. Well, that’s on a normal day, or even a weekend. But, not today.
We were up at 5am today. Mom and I had a plane to catch. Heading home from Seattle where we enjoyed a baseball game, and graduation, and lots of family.
Katie dropped us off at the airport at 630. Mom had PreCheck today, so we made it through security in no time. Off the the South gates, so a train ride was in out future.
We get out to the gates and the bathrooms are on the other end of the terminal, of course. The line at the coffee shop was 30 deep, and I didn’t think I could talk mom into a burger for breakfast. Thus, we sat at the gate.
We are booked in Comfort+ on Delta. We boarded with the First Class people, just because. Upon seating, we found that we are the only people in Plus today.
Time for coffee? Ok, why not. Our on board service was phenomenal. I asked for a Bailey’s for my coffee, and was advised I should try it with a bit of Honey Jack to cut the sweetness. I tried, it was nice, but I probably won’t do it again.
