I mentioned to many people that I am a burger snob. I mean, I really am a snob. This review might reinforce that opinion.
First, I ordered a beer to figure out which of the 10 variants of burgers to order. It shouldn’t have been hard for me, as the options were, small, single, and double. Add, cheese and / or bacon, and you are done. Wait, you need a side: fries or rings.
Then, this burger comes out. It is bigger than anything I’ve seen in years. It has tons of fresh onions, tomatoes, and lettuce. The sauce is oozing from the sides. And, it is bigger than anyone’s mouth. And, it doesn’t squish either.
Now, the review. ORDER THE RINGS! These are amazing, thick crust that crumbles, and thick onions that you can taste. Wow!
The burger was described by friends as the best in California, and by others as the best in the world. Some of these people also describe In-and-Out as tasty too.
I enjoyed all of the fresh veggies on the burger, and the cheese was nicely melted. However, there was so much other than the meat, I couldn’t taste the burger. It was more of a veggie sandwich with a meat patty.
On my burger scale, this is a 7.
